Asante Africa Foundation Hosts Two

MBA Fellows

We are very fortunate to have 2 power house individuals join our leadership team for the next 9 months. They come to us from the UC Berkeley MBA Program. Nisha Ramachandran and Emily Mochizuki.

Under the UC Berkeley MBA program, as Board Fellows, both Emily and Nisha will help us work a challenge area that is strategic in nature and will develop a method, plan, approach that helps our organization be stronger and better. They will also "shadow" and participate in our BOD level discussion to learn how we make decisions and shape the direction the organization is going.

The area of focus they have chosen to apply their talents and energy is developing a 2012 Marketing and Communication plan for Asante Africa Foundation. We are currently working out the details of what that looks like but it will include the elements of social media, stewardship with our donors and "friends", branding, and print-online communication balance. They will interact with the Marketing and Branding Committee and they will also be engaged with the those of us working the day to day challenges.

Please help me welcome both Nisha and Emily. We are fortunate to have their skills to augment our team.
