Asante Africa Foundation is heavily volunteer operated, relying on the heroic efforts of our volunteers in the USA. Our office is based in the East Bay area of San Francisco, CA. Volunteer in East Africa
We team with local communities in the countries where we work to become active in the planning and implementation of their projects and as such, Asante Africa Foundation does not offer volunteer opportunities for overseas placements. We do team with a volunteer hostel who can provide in country based opportunities.
Ujamaa Hostel - a volunteer hostel located in Arusha, Tanzania that provides fun, safe, budget accommodations where you can meet like-minded people and spend time volunteering.
