How You Can Help

Please donate! Every penny counts.

Big goals are achieved through contributions of all sizes. We target 90% of your donation to go directly to the programs we fund in Tanzania and Kenya. Our objective is to keep administration costs as low as possible, and yet we recognize the need to invest in a solid infrastructure to support and sustain our growth.

Many ways to donate:

• Donate online to the general fund supporting the highest priority need. Via PayPal, you can either make a one-time donation or a recurring monthly donation by entering the amount below.

  To start or update a Recurring Montly Donation, enter a monthly dollar amount into box above and click on the "Donate Monthly" button.

• Donate by mail to the general fund, or specify a project and amount on your mailed check or money order to be used only for that purpose.

• In-kind donations are also needed. Current priorities include airline mileage for Foundation staff to oversee projects and for African contacts to come to the US for training. We also need digital cameras, office equipment and space. Please call or email us if you can help.

Corporate matching

You may be able to increase the impact of your personal donation if your employer matches it. Many companies will double or even triple their employee's tax-deductible donation, or provide other cash incentives for donating your time and money. The option may even be available to a spouse/widow/widower of an employee. Talk to your human resources department about matching donations, and let us know how we can support completing the process with you.

Speak with your broker or other financial advisor for more information on how you can donate stocks.

Volunteer in country

Ujamaa Hostel - a volunteer hostel located in Arusha, Tanzania that provides fun, safe, budget accommodations where you can meet like-minded people and spend time volunteering.

Spread the word and generate donations

The more people who are interested in the Foundation the sooner we can provide the desperately needed services to the children and families in the Africa.

• Host a presentation for a group. We would love to share our experiences and photos of Tanzania and Kenya.
