We wanted to thank you for your recent purchase from Asante Africa Foundation.
This is a note to welcome you into our community.
Asante Africa Foundation began with a vision from 3 women: Erna Grasz, a Silicon Valley corporate executive with an advanced degree in engineering and program management, Emmy Moshi, a Tanzanian entrepreneur residing in the Kilimanjaro region and Hellen Nkuraiya, a school principle and esteemed member of the Kenyan Maasai tribe. What began as a two-village project, led by three women with a passion for youth and education, has expanded to 18 partnerships (and counting) with schools in 22 villages in Kenya and Tanzania. Over 460 teachers and 30,000+ students have directly benefitted from primary and secondary school scholarships, training for youth and teachers and the 50-plus infrastructure projects completed to date, including classrooms, student dormitories, latrines and water tanks. Our success and continued growth is our reliance on local knowledge and expertise to develop solutions that are viable and sustainable in the communities and cultures where we work.
We look forward to hearing from you and updating you on the progress your contribution has made possible.
Behind each child, every teacher, every leader is a unique story of spirit, courage, commitment, and ingenuity. Asante Africa Foundation’s achievements are possible because of hundreds of individuals, families, and companies – like YOU.
Thank you for believing in the long-term impact of education and the ability for knowledge to transform worlds.
Asante Sana (Many thanks in Swahili)
